Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actor, writer, director and producer. Anna Silk's father is British, as is her mother was is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her working in rehearsals for plays. She appeared in many commercials in her early years. Anna was able to move to Toronto in order to help her acting grow. Later, the actress moved to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her husband in 2009. Anna had just recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton. Bo's same-sex romance with Lauren was featured in CNN's most popular TV Couples in the history of television and was named top Television Couple 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's social media following grew after the success of her TV show.
