Tracy Spiridakos has been nominated for the title of Best Actress on TV for NBC's post-apocalyptic sci-fi show Revolution. Spiridakos is the daughter of parents who are Greek. She was born at Winnipeg Manitoba. Spiridakos' family relocated to Skala close to Sparta as she reached the age of four. Spiridakos came back to Canada when she was nine. She has a deep connection to her Greek heritage, and can speak Greek with fluency. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg at the age of 2000. Spiridakos moved from Vancouver at the end of 2007 in order to pursue acting. Within a few weeks, she she was offered her first TV role, a small part on Supernatural. In 2009, she was awarded her very first leading role on TV with Majority Rules! Her feature film debut was in the year 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
