Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani is on the rise through his untitled third album. On the 26th of February in 1976, Ky-mani was conceived to the legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican taa One Love starred Ky-mani in the character as Kassa. It's a captivating love story about an enlightened musician from reggae who tries to break free from the darkness and finds out that his world has changed when he meets an innocent girl in church. The film was highly acclaimed by film critics as well as film festival audiences. The film is being released to cinemas. Frank Flowers directed the feature film Haven that Ky-Mani has recently has completed. It is starring Bill Paxton, Orlando Bloom and is written by Frank Flowers. Haven was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. At the Toronto International Film Festival, Haven debuted. He will take you back to the older generation that was part of reggae's boom. The East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler" and every album or journey, is an adventure. The Journey was his first album of music. His diverse perspective allowed Ky-Mani to discover his unique style and develop his many talents. 2001 was the year that Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) was a "traditional" reggae record was released , revealing a mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey received a great reception across the globe. This solidified Ky-mani's status as an artist who is independent. Ky-Mani is renowned for his distinctive blend that combines hip-hop with R&B with a touch of contemporary jazz.
